The Good

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

In my most previous article, I had alluded to something good God has worked together from Glory’s death. Today is the day I can share it with you. He worked it together for the good of His elect and that is not limited to Andrew and myself.

I just so happened to have been flown to Utah to give birth, the same week that a few families moved there to start Apologia Church Utah. Through God’s providence, we met them and one of them just so happened to be a host for the very popular Christian podcast entitled Cultish. They invited him to be on the show and part one airs tonight on youtube.

While I’m so thankful for this blessing and the people it may need to reach, it is with some mixed emotion. As I have said previously, if I had my first choice, Glory would have not been born in the sub-par Utah hospital and there is nothing I would have traded. Not a thing. But it does bring some amount of comfort to see the great and mighty good that God is bringing about through this. That God could use our situation to pluck His elect away from false teaching is immensely encouraging. And painful. Sometimes the biggest good God works out of your hardship is for other people. I’m astonished at the joy this has brought us.

My Drew just so happens to be very gifted in the knowledge of theology and apologetics and has been wrestling with the very important topic of the Hebrew Roots Movement that has infiltrated the church. He’s one of the few who are addressing it. If you are a believer and have not heard of this topic, I beg you to watch the episode with us tonight and arm yourself. It is spreading especially among the women of the church. Many Torah observers that are gaining momentum in the church are indeed our brethren in Christ, but many of them are not. They go so far as to deny Paul and then shortly after deny Christ, taking entire churches with them as is the plan of the enemy. They spout fabricated sources that are nowhere to be found, many with good intentions who don’t realize that the enemy made a pretty, persuasive graphic with not one shred of historical accuracy and they bought it hook, line and sinker.

The first episode airs on Youtube tonight at 5pm Mountain time (my pay grade isn’t high enough to do the math for you in the wee hours as I write this so please figure out your time zone). I assume the podcast has already aired based on the history of how Apologia Studios has released previous episodes. Directly after the episode, head on over to Drew’s channel Beginning of Wisdom for a livestream q and a!

  1. We had to leave a church where Hebrew roots crept in . Books were secretly introduced to the women to read . I knew after reading the first part that it was not in line with the gospel . Sadly the church had to split , and then we left the next church in the same town as well over another heresy -a liberal elder was bringing in false teaching concerning sexual immorality and abortion . Over 100 people left and then the false elder left to go down the road to another Denomination and they are paying him
! We are weary of all this but continue to fellowship in a very small church .
